Just found out I'm pregnant with baby number 2, daughter is 11 months at the minute, I wasn't one bit scared the first time around, I had a c section, but for some reason this time I am scared about everything, I know it will be such hard work

The first time you’re pregnant, you live in blissful ignorance. Even if someone tells you how hard it is, you can’t really appreciate it until you’ve lived it.

I have a 2.5yr old and a 6 week old and so far I’ve found it significantly easier second time round. Of course so much of this depends on what sort of baby you have. However, I’ve found I’m much more relaxed as a mother which makes a huge difference. I think with your second, you’re already on this crazy busy treadmill so you just keep going. I do think that going from 0-1 is harder than 1-2 (although I do only have a short amount of experience of this so far!!). Also, I found that my first took up all of my time so the second can’t take up any more of that time! I suppose you just have to carry on so you do.

congratulations!!

Congratulations! I fell pregnant when my first was 10 months so you'll have a similar gap to me. Not gonna lie the early days were hard but now they're 3 and 19 months they are so lovely together and it's totally worth getting all the no sleep and nappies out of the way! I'm now so glad that I've said goodbye to the baby stage forever now (both mine were refluxy non sleeping babies!) and I can enjoy my children now!
