DD 3 seems 'troubled'

I'm really upset as for the past 6 weeks or so my DD 3 seems really troubled. She's had some epic tantrums where I've had to restrain her from throwing things everywhere. Prior to this, she'd grown out of the 2 year old tantrums. She seems so highly strung at the moment and just a bit upset by very minor things. She's become very focused on what days she's going to pre school and who is picking her up.

There have been no changes at home but her pre school key worked has changed. Pre school have commented in how emotional she is at the moment.

She's developing brilliantly, has lots of friends and we have no concerns around anything in that regard. She just seems unhappy. Could it br a developmental leap or growth spurt? Its really bringing the whole house down and I'm getting concerned.

Threenager tantrums, they are epic!

Regarding her emotions, my son gets abit wobbly times and can't say why.
We just put it down to having an off week, like we all do when we feel abit shit.

Have you asked her what's wrong?

Thanks. Maybe it is just a different type of tantrum! Im finding the physicality of them tough to deal with. Yes I have asked but she can't seem to tell me! It just seems such a marked change over the past few weeks.

Haha yes I do it's just the period of calm which seemed to lull me into a false sense of security....

This completely describes my 3.5 year old daughter! Terrible 2s were a total breeze compared to age 3. She's goes from being the sweetest little girl to having emotional outbursts within seconds. All my friends with girls say it gets easier from age 5 so I'm holding out 😂

Thanks. You see the 2s were bad for us....then everything was great and now she seems so sad 😥
