Poorly baby should I wake?

DS is 4 months old and past few days been suffering with a cough, cold and temperature. Past couple of nights he’s understandably not been able to sleep.

he normally only sleep for 45 min naps during the day but he’s been asleep for 3 hours so far! I’ve checked in on him his temp is fine, his breathing is okay. Should I just leave him to sleep or wake him? I don’t know if the long nap is him trying to recover/catch up on sleep but I’m conscious he’s only had one feed this morning

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

They also have a bit of a growth spurt around 4 months so will sleep and eat more.

I'd probably try and wake baby in a bit for a feed and he can go back to sleep if he needs it

I’d probably give him another half hour and then if he hadn’t woken I’d wake him for a feed

Thank you both. Has I known he would sleep this long I would have gone for a nap myself!! But just been watching the monitor anticipating him waking! Mum life hey? Lol

He obviously needs it so I’d leave him be. No one wants to be woken up when they’re not well x
