Why is my mind tricking me into thinking I want a child

I have 1 children 11 & 6. Both easy with normal struggles but they sleep, are great Company, help me out and all in all just a joy.

I work full time - so does my OH. We are busy busy all of the time. Both doing well and progressing in our careers.

I was a SAHM after 11 year old was born and until 6 yo turned 3.

so massive change. We have a lovely life, holidays are actually relaxing etc.

but I honestly desperately want another baby. Even though logically I don’t and OH says he doesn’t either. I’m only 32 so still got time but also as my kids are getting older I feel I couldn’t have another after a certain point.

any advice - I don’t want a pet.

I'm no help sorry but just wanted to say you are not alone as I feel exactly the same 😩

I'm 32 as well with 2 DDs aged 4 and 9mo both of them balls of energy. I decided to never have kids after DD2 birth because of silly but extremely annoying Postpartum problems. But now my heart says have one more they are so cute. I'm a SAHM. I'm so tempted for another baby but my brain says a big NO. Torn between the Brain and Heart.

I think it's just the love of our little ones that makes us want one more version of them!
