CMPA poo question.

My 11 week old DS has CMPA.

He is FF and we tried SMA Althera which didn't agree with him and his poo was still green and watery. It was making his bum really sore so the doctor prescribed him Neocate. We started this Friday evening and so far seems to be working a little better.
His poo's are a mushy texture now but still green ranging from khaki, dark green with streaks of yellow/mustard type of colour.

How long for people with babies with CMPA did it take for their poo to go a mustard/yellow type colour? I don't expect it to straight away but what sort of time frame did other people see a difference? Just so I know if the new milk is working for him.

His twin can have standard milk and yellow/mustard poo's so just want to be on the right track for him.

TIA Smile.

It was always 2 to 3 weeks as a 'guideline' when we were going through this but I found things usually cleared up faster than that for my little one. He was anaphylactic tho - in my case it was my drinking it and the 'tainted' breast milk causing issues

Thank you. It'll only be one week Friday so 🤞🏼 he can get rid of his green poo's!
