Ds in reception, had a bit of a rocky start struggling to focus and having issues with hitting others. Seemed to settle down after chats and some school intervention. Had a good parents evening just before half term, been back 2 days and teacher today said he has been hitting and throwing things and a child parent has rung the school because there child doesn't want to come to school anymore because they are scared of my son. I'm mortified, have spoken to my son we have talked about what's appropriate behaviour. He was very upset when he got back because he knew he wouldn't get any stickers because he had been naughty. We have been trying to reward good behaviour as found we were just punishing the bad. I don't know what to do, he really is a lovely boy most the time but in the last couple do weeks he has had such a temper if he doesn't get what he wants.
Please be kind I know his behaviour isn't acceptable I don't even know what I look g for I just needed to get it out there. I'm also embarrassed this is where we are .
