Normal?

My DD will be 13 months at the end of this week. She hasn't crawled or anything like that. Has showed signs of bum shuffling but seems slightly hesitant. If I stand her up on her feet she is strong but just hasn't got the balance yet. Basically I'm just looking for some reassurance that this is normal at this stage.

Just to add before having her I literally knew nothing about children so feel free to tell me I'm being ridiculous.

Neither of mine crawled before 11 months. DD was almost a year.

They walked at 16 and 17 months.

Every baby develops at their own pace. Some just take their time to move.

Look up Bluey Baby Race.

Not all babies crawl so it can be normal. It's also on the early side of "normal" to expect first steps at this stage.

Keep letting her practice standing. You've got a good few months before you might start to worry, and a lot can happen in a few months
