Banana for 9mo

Can a 9mo eat a whole banana? My mum asks me to just give her half as one big banana might cause indigestion. But she always cries for more!

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

As a snack? Sure! If she can eat it then let her have it!
Maybe do one banana every other day, and a different fruit on the opposite days. I know bananas can sometimes make you bunged up x

Yes it's totally fine.

Some bananas are huge and some are kiddies ones - depends on the size!

I think mine was eating 2 bananas a day at that age

At 9 mo my son was eating entire bananas and a while slice of bread for lunch. Never gave any signs of stomach pain, and he has banana sandwiches regularly

Your child will stop eating when she's full. However bananas can slow bms, so you may want to do 1/2 banana and 1/2 another fruit to keep everything moving.

Banana doesn’t really keep so unless you want half of it yourself then I’d let them eat until they’re full. I usually try to buy smaller ones though.
