Teething poops - how long?

My LB is 7 months old and has horrid swollen top gums and looks like both top teeth are coming through. His bottom 2 arrived about a month ago.
He has been so fretful and upset, he is normally so happy and smily and at least 4 days this week he’s been low grade whining and screeching almost angrily. He had a HORRIBLE teething poop (acidic, sour smelling, loose) this evening.
I know there’s apparently no evidence that teething doesn’t cause bad poops, but how long did your LO have bad nappies before the tooth cut through?
I may lose my mind if this carries on much longer, he is just a completely different baby and it’s so hard to see him to aggy and not himself.

My little boy tends to have loose stalls for a few days... not sure if every child will be different though.

Why does the poop thing happen with teething? Poor little thing...my 7mo has cut his 2 bottom ones and I'm dreading the next lot 😢

It's often because they are producing - and swallowing - a LOT more dribble.

I found it stopped once the tooth had erupted.

My son would get horrible vomit poos when teething. Interestingly, he's getting his adult teeth through now and it's happening again with stinky poos.
