hi everyone ftm here my baby is 4 days old and is suffering already from the most horrendous gas and wind he's on kendamil atm it doesn't matter what I do I he's screaming in pain especially at night so unsettled and won't sleep? Should I change his milk? And if I so whats the best thing for a gassy baby and try something to settle him more I keep seeing him in pain and it's breaking my heart.

At 4 days old I would speak to your midwife to make sure it's not something else.

Do you think I should?
He seems absolutely fine during the day well can definitely handle it better during the day but at night it's horrendous just won't sleep and constantly scrunching up in to a wee ball and arching back.

My LO is like this, he's 4 weeks old but started doing everything you have said above from about 2 days old, midwife said he's got colic, even tho it's a bit early and recommended infacol which worked wonders at the beginning Xx

I called the midwife she said it does just sound like wind don't change milk or anything like that just now as it can make it worse but try slowing the feeds down and keeping him up right for 10-15minutes after see if they helps.

Can you use that from Birth?

Are you paced feeding? That might help if your not doing it already.

Definitely keep upright after feeds, wind throughly, paced feeding and infacol can be used from birth.
