Thoughts on this age gap?

I’ve been feeling a bit broody, but have had to hold off. DS is 13.5 mo! we don’t get a lot of help from family which some people are quite lucky to have also meaning our weekday is him in nursery for most of it.

Because of these factors I’d like him to 1) be slightly more independent (still currently learning to walk) 2) get free nursery hours when my next maternity leave ends

I thought about asking my DH should we maybe TTC from October/November this year so the earliest age gap would be 2.5years (ish) if we got pregnant immediately as I need to plan for that as a potential

has anyone had this age gap what is it like?

i do want them close but want to have more alone time with DS but also like we’re in a bit of a stage I’m finding hard - the unsteadiness with walking so he’s slipping a bit which makes me panic, not fully talking yet so sometimes throws little tantrums when he gets frustrated

but is that too close

The age gap for my children is 15 months, which is what you would have if you got pregnant soon. I absolutely loved it and wouldn't change a thing. My son and daughter adored each other growing up and still do as adults.
