Any parenting book recommendations?

I have an amazing 3 year old daughter who has recently started being quite a lot more challenging. She is very emotional and contrary (for example, will cry if I say good morning as she has decided it's not the morning...😬)

By the end of the day, my patience is frayed to say the least and I want to improve how I talk and interact with her when she is being relentlessly difficult.

I'm not a massive fan on the very softly softly approach and narrating feelings etc but does anyone have recommendations for practical books which might help me?

Thanks!

The Whole Brain Child is quite good. Basically gives a lot of background on why kids are as they are, and the some practical tips for different situations. I was a bit sceptical about some bits, but when I tried them out it was all surprisingly effective!
