I have been reading that's its rare. My ex got a letter sent from a lawyer saying contact stopped for no good reason there was a good reason tho. He's been charged with assault on me I got him charged with harassment just the other day there, he assaulted me again by picking me up and flinging me on a bed but police said there wasn't enoguht evidence to charge him for that even though I have messages off him admitting it, but the day he done that he's tried to take the baby away from me in the pram the brakes where on the pram so he's pulling the pram about with baby in it but again they said there wasn't enought evidence and I have messages off him stating that he didn't know the brakes were on. The messages I have from him saying hes going to slap the shit out of me he's going to kick my door in , round 2 gloves are off as he messed my face up st one point even have messages off him saying don't even ask me to see the baby and one when I was pregnant telling me to raise IT myself will the family court take all this into consideration? He don't work all he's interested in is playing a playstation and smoking weed. And his house just isn't safe atall for a baby to be as his mother sells drugs they fight with their neighbour who smashed their door up with a baseball bat, and him and a friend got dragged out the house just recently by 10 police officers no idea why but he got a fine for tht on the 8th of February. Really hope he gets a sentence for this harassment case as he's had a tag community service now a fine so it's the only thing left

I've got no idea but you need to contact either Women's Aid (as you are still being abused) or Rights of Women (for advice on the court process) urgently.
