Hi,
Just looking for anyone in the same/has been in the same position and wanting some reassurance.

My son, age 4, had to go for a hearing test today which was recommended by his nursery because of his quiet talking and how he pronounces certain words (mainly 's' and 'f' words).

He passed the main hearing test which he had headphones on for and was asked to do certain things when he heard the different noises. However when the vibrations of his eardrum was checked it came back as unsatisfactory on his left side. The lady was lovely and said its not usually anything to worry about it could be because he has a bit of a cold so has asked us to go back in 3 months.

I asked if in 3 months its the same what happens next and she said as he's passed the main hearing test it'll just mean he has a slight hearing loss in that ear which they don't usually do anything about but being a mum I can't help but worry about this and him not being able yo hear properly.

Anyone else had this?
