Baby won't be put down

Baby is 8 weeks old, and will only fall asleep while breastfeeding. As soon as I move him or put him down he wakes up screaming. I'm struggling to get things done, and I also have a toddler who needs me too.
Any advice?

You need a sling!

Have you tried a sling? I have a 5 week old and a 2.5 year old and I would really struggle without a sling. It’s also hit and miss whether he’ll go down in the baby swing so this may be another option (although pricey if it doesn’t work)

A sling I'm afraid. Baby is ONLY 8 weeks and needs you too

Standard sorry. Advice is to completely lower your expectations of what needs to be done.

As abov4, get a sling

your baby is tiny and dependant on you.

My baby is 10 weeks old and I have the same issue. I think it's just a case of embracing it. Going out for a walk in the pram seems to be the only way I can get stuff done. He usually stays asleep for 30mins once I bring the pram in. Same with the carseat. I also breastfeed and think this definitely makes it harder as they have such a close bond. Getting out the house for a walk might be a good option? I feel your pain life is so difficult with a newborn.
