Just venting.
22 months old and he will not let his dad leave his sight. Me on the other hand? Doesn't care where I am or what I'm doing. And I can't help but feel like shit about it. He's been unwell recently and doesn't want me. Just wants his dad.
I try so fucking hard to maintain everything in our lives that I feel it takes away my time with him. I make sure I play with him/cuddle him or do whatever he is interested in doing for at least an hour each day (on work days.. more on weekends obviously) so he doesn't think that I'm redundant but it's obviously not working. And mostly during that time he just wants his dad. I cried yesterday because it's breaking my heart when I just want to spend some quality time with him and the whole time he's crying because his dad is doing something else.
Feel like the shittest mum. Whose child doesn't want their mum when they're not feeling well? 😔
