Hello, My son stopped wearing pull ups at night 2 weeks ago and since then we've had 4 dry nights. I lift him every night at around midnight. And most mornings, he wakes up wet. A couple of mornings ago, he woke up at 3am, to go do a wee. Which was great! but he still woke up wet. Also, out of all these nights, being wet only woke him up once. Every other night, he is wet and is fast asleep!

Question: does it seem like he is too young to be without night pull ups? he was completely dry and clean during the day since he was 2 yr 4 months.

Thanks!

I forgot to say this, my son does not drink much liquid after 3pm. and does a wee before going to bed.

Thanks!

Counterintuitively, if he doesn't drink much after 3pm maybe he should be drinking more. I think it helps them regulate their fluid balance better to drink according to thirst. Not saying you should give him a pint of water at bedtime or anything, just normal drinks right up to teatime, and his normal bedtime milk if he still has it. then wee, and bed. If he still wets more often than not, go back to pullups for a week then try again, maybe putting him in a new pair of PJs.

Still wet after that ? Maybe he's just not ready.
