2 night trip away - breastfeeding

Would like to join friends on a 2night break soon. My ds is 21months and still breastfed in morning, for lunch nap and at bedtime.
I've never pumped much so not sure how effective it will be & worried about being engorged.

Has anyone been in similar circumstances and gone away successfully?

Anxiety of going is taking over from the excitement of having a break.

I found by that time the supply was like a tap. My son would lose interest and only be bothered at bed time, but if he wasn't feeling well he'd want to feed loads. There always seemed to be plenty of milk but I never got engorged.

My experience is the same as @RoobarbandCustud

Anxiety; really? Bit extreme.

Buy a hand pump. Give it a go.

By that age you will only need to pump/express for comfort, might not need to at all. I was away overnight from my dc3 who is 14 months recently and I had to express on her favourite side twice and on the other side not at all.

You’ll have a lovely time and he will be fine, enjoy.

He's 21 months old. Worst happens and your milk goes away, he will be fine.
