Allergy to penicillin?

Does this look like an allergy to penicillin? We've had vomiting too. On day 5 and rash is spreading. He's 14m and had tonsillitis x

I'm not a healthcare professional but I am allergic to it and have vomiting and that rash.

DS got a very similar rash the first time he was given penicillin. GP said allergy and it’s now on his medical records.

Thanks for replies. I assume I'm okay to not panic today and just call doc tomorrow to hopefully change over the anti biotics? It does seem to be spreading / getting worse though, do you think I should get him seen today? X

I have exactly the same reaction, as does one of my DDs. It has never been at a life threatening stage and no swelling; we both just get other antibiotics now. 111 will be able to advise.

Not a health care professional but I have a allergies to a few antibiotics and my symptoms start out very similar when I have a reaction.

Thanks for al replies. Doc confirmed allergy and prescribed clarithromycin. He had his first dose 2h ago and this has come up on his face. :-( is this another reaction?
