Messaging app for separated parents??

I'm not with my ex after domestic violence, and there's a restraining order in place for 3 years. He hasn't seen my dd for almost a year but has now applied to the court to see her. It will be supervised in a contact centre to start.

Once supervision ends, his mother will be our third party for contact. She's quite toxic and I don't want to speak to her. Anything that needs saying, I want in black and white so nothing can be twisted.

I have them blocked and have had to change my number recently as he was harassing me. So is there an app we (me and his mother) can communicate through without them having my new number?

Can you get a basic pay as you go phone, or even a pay as you go sim, that you use just for contact with them? Then you can control when that’s switched on and off

Thank you for your reply. I didn’t really want the faff of another phone but something that could be monitored. They're the type to send abusive messages delete and deny it was them. So at least with an app both sides are kept.

I use telegram app and there is an option to not show your number.
