9 week crying

Hi all,

new mum here!!

We’ve made it through the 6-8 phase, currently in the 9 week phase and hitting 10 weeks on Monday. We’ve not had any experience of colic BUT over the past week the crying has been intense. My husband works until 8:30 in the evening so it’s just me going through it. She will go straight to bed after her bath with no issues and then sleep from 8pm- until 8am with 2 feeds in between .
I’ve got the wonder weeks app which says that it should ease up, which I’m counting on because it’s been difficult.

Has anyone else found this particular week (including 10) difficult? More difficult than others?

TIA

For us, the crying only started to slow down around 12 weeks (he was colicky), but things rapidly improved each week from then.

Same as above mine started improving from 12 weeks, was noticeably better by 3 months. I distinctly remember crying myself at the 10 week mark because I'd read crying should decrease after the 6-8 week mark and it hadn't. Hang in there.

Also just a side note, I personally don't believe in the wonder weeks. I think it makes you anxious for the 'bad' weeks it tells you are ahead. If I went by wonder weeks my DS should be in a huge 4 week fussy stage.... He's the happiest he's been!
