16 week old 2am wake ups!

Hi ladies,

So a few weeks ago my then 13 week old was sleeping pretty well at night with long stretches and sometimes even sleeping through until 5/6am after a bottle at 10pm.

Then the dreaded 4m sleep regression hit and it was a challenge to say the least with multiple wake ups and taking a long time to settle/wanting to sleep on me etc. We've turned a bit of a corner with it and she is now waking only once in the night, always at almost exactly 2am! And I'm just struggling a bit with what to do for the best...

I've tried settling her and she will sleep on me but as soon as I put her down she is awake again. I didn't want to reintroduce another milk feed at this time as was worried she'd then start waking for it but was concerned that she may be having a growth spurt and might need it so I have been making a bottle at that time. The issue is she barely touches it, falls back asleep and then doesn't want her 7am bottle which throws things off a bit for the day!

On the one hand I shouldn't be complaining as she does go back to sleep until morning but I'm worried she's now programmed to wake up at that time and isn't really hungry as she barely touches that bottle or the one after and should I try settling her back to sleep instead and hope this is a phase that will pass?

Sorry, this is probably a stupid question but my first DD cut out the night feeds really early and was sleeping through at 10 weeks so I have no frame of reference!

Any advice much appreciated!
