I started a new job on Monday, of course my 4 year old is sick.
For reference I live in a country where sick days for children aren't only paid but legally protected.
Now on Monday his dad reluctantly agrees to having him home stating "he's fine". The child was up for 6 hours in the night throwing up and on the toilet with the shits. He called me numerous times to ask me when I finish work and why I have to work.
Tuesday he took the still sick child to nursery because he needed to work. Leaving me scrambling to find childcare because he was meant to have the child from 4:30 and he wasn't back in time for that.
Today he took him back to nursery and the nursery called me to pick him up because he's still sick. His dad works 1,5 hours away by bus so couldn't pick him up. But then he decided to work an extra hour or "maybe more", so I can't even finish my work day.
How am I meant to work when this is the week he's meant to be at his dads?
