Anyone else’s year 6 driving them mad at the minute? My 11 year old daughter at the minute is very unpleasant. Nothing major….. but the moods, the sulks, the arrogance and all of that jazz is very unpleasant. Of course sometimes she can be lovely.
I have a year 8 son who missed a lot of year 6 due to covid so we never really had this stage with him. Having said that he’s a different character altogether and even now doesn’t give me any jip.
Is this a year 6 thing? Will she come down a peg or two in year 7 or just get progressively worse? I know she is hormonal so I do give her the benefit of the doubt many, many times.
There are strong boundaries in my household so she will need all the luck in the world if she carries this on 😉, but I’m just wondering if this is “year 6 vibes” going on.
