Hi everyone , ds is 6 days old. Very chilled baby the last few days. Tonight he os inconsolable and won’t settle no matter what we try . His cry is intense compared to his normal cry. We’ve tried feeding him, winding him, changing his nappy, offering his dummy. He is so agitate and just screams no matter how we cuddle or hold him unless he is super close but it takes so long for us to find that position where he his happy. Has anyone else’s baby suddenly been unable to settle . Also if I ring the community midwives would they send a health care assistant to come and check on him . Our next appointment isn’t for another 12 days .
