Bad parenting?

Well today since 16.00 pm I have:

Bought DS a plastic orange with sherbert in it because he nagged me - well at least he is getting some fruit right?

Given him Supernoodles for tea - along with fish and peas.

Given both him and his sister silver sparkly wands from the lucky dip I had prepared for his party because he nagged me.

Allowed them to watch tv from 16.50 pm onwards - still there now.

Bought instead of made his birthday cake for tommorrow. To be fair there is no way I could be expected to come up with a Thomas the tank engine cake to the required standard.

Anyone else parenting badly today?

Nah. I'm on Mumsnet. How could that count as bad parenting?

(no idea what they are doing)
