Baby seat that will fit a coach

Hi all,

We’re going abroad for the first time with our toddler, who will be 20 months when we travel. I want to get a car seat that will fit in the coach for the transfer and also any potential excursions. I really am not comfortable with her sitting on our laps or sitting on a seat on her own!

Has anyone successfully used a car seat on a coach? And if so, what was the make and model?

I appreciate they are all different shapes and sizes, and might not even have seatbelts! However, I’m hoping to find something universal that will have a good chance of fitting in a coach.

TIA

I looked into this when we went abroad when DS was 2. Unfortunately it's a non-starter really as a lot of coaches don't have seatbelts and/or the seats aren't wide enough. In the end we did take a car seat and paid for taxis instead of coach transfers. We also used the car seat on the plane which was amazing, avoided constant running up and down the aisles.

Ageee you won't find something universal, best option taxi transfer and take a seat

It's unlikely you'll find a car seat that fits on a coach. Either sit baby on your lap or take a taxi transfer if the car seat is important to you.

We used the Britax two way elite.

This is just a basic car seat you can get from most shops and this was on a coach.

Easy to instal (seatbelt), and was solid and secure.
