So my daughter (3rd child, now 21 months) has been going to childminders/nursery since January last year. At first like any other baby there were the few tears but she seemed to settle in well and has been fine up until the last few weeks. I have noticed that she is randomly waking up with a loud scream and then she does go back to sleep.. but this only happens on the nights she has been to the nursery in the day? She has also started refusing to get out of her car seat/arching back/screaming and clinging when it's drop off time in the morning. Her attitude and behaviour at home has also changed, she is having tantrums, throwing herself to the floor and trying to bang her head out of frustration when she doesn't get her own way. Whenever I mention the carers names , I get a stern 'no' and a frown. - 6 months ago she seemed to adore these people?
I have asked the nursery who are sure that nothing has changed there and they've not noticed anything happening that would make her upset.
Is this just a phase she is going through or do I need to move her to a different nursery? It's heartbreaking leaving her thinking she is unhappy, she can't talk so is unable to tell me why she doesn't want to go.
