OOOH- GOOD LUCK!!

Is it on a ward?

Good luck mosschops xx

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 07/02/2008 16:43

Good luck, you'll be fine. They were obviously impressed with you when you were placed there, so you're halfway there already

3andnomore · 07/02/2008 17:43

Good luck, that is fabulous for you.

Good luck mosschops. Your enthusiasm is obvious and will no doubt help you in the interview.

BBBee · 07/02/2008 20:23

good luck and congrats - you must be doing something right!

mosschops30 · 08/02/2008 12:04

thank you all. Its on the critical care unit and is ideally where i'd love a job. I have no desire to work on a ward doing 5 shifts a week so this is perfect for me in every way.
Which makes it even more stressful, I prefer job interviews when you dont really care if you get it or not, I always do well in those

When is the interview mosschops?

How nervous are you feeling about it?

mosschops30 · 10/02/2008 12:29

Its on the 21st Feb. I have gone for an early slot so I can spend less time fretting about it on the day.
My mentor from the same place has given me some info that I will need to read up on beforehand like current trends in ITU nursing and agenda for change etc.

Yes am shitting myself already, will need a permanent drip feed of rescue remedy beforehand

Best of luck. Try to remain calm (easier said than done)

DANCESwithaMuffinTop · 10/02/2008 14:57

HA! I was just going to come on and say good luck and RESCUE REMEDY but I see you already have some ready! I had my first interview for years a few months ago and I used RR and it was FAB for calming those last minute nerves. GOOD LUCK!

Sidge · 10/02/2008 15:08

Oh great news, all the best!!

If you had a placement there already then they probably have an idea of what you are like, so just be yourself, impress them with your drive and enthusiasm and be knowledgeable about the longer term plan for acute services etc.

donbean · 10/02/2008 15:11
