My daughters 10 months and seems to be getting coughs/colds back to back. I usually just do olbas oil, lots of water and warm baths. What do other people do? Any tips? Especially for coughs

10 months old here too. Saline up the nose to clear snot and then just Calpol/neurofen if she’ll take it. Calpol plug in maybe. But definitely the saline - she’ll sneeze and then you have to wipe it away before it gets breathed back in!

Humidifier in room at night for a cough.

Calpol if she seems to be suffering/has a fever.

Calpol paracetamol and plug ins. Keep heating OFF in bedrooms - it dries air making coughing worse. Paracetamol can help with coughing. It is tough when this happens at this age. My ds was the same but it has certainly boosted his immune system. He rarely got ill once in nursery.

Warm tea before bed instead of milk helped with the "lying down coughing fit" here.

Warm water with a bit of lemon juice (don't add honey, obviously, until she's 1)

Cool mist humidifier is excellent! Really helps our baby when she has a cough. Olbas oil on a rag near cot. We use a nasal aspirator

Snufflebabe is great.

If you can get the calpol plug in with orange light and the absolute best saline drops are "sterimar" as it's an amazing gentle spray.
