Whether or not to call GP?

My 14 month old DD has been a bit 'off' for a week, she had a temp of 39 for 2 days (brought down by calpol), then she had a very snotty nose and disturbed sleep for a couple of days, now she's had diarrhoea for last 2 days (literally leaking out of her - no previous signs of constipation)

She has been off her food the whole time but never has a massive appetite, she is also BF A LOT!!!

Not really sure what Dr would say and don't want to waste time but just has felt like a long week particularly with not eating solids really at all (aside from a few spoons of yoghurt/occasional baby crisp).

Just wondering what others would do?

I would call the GP; my DS was like this and needed anti biotics. They may so she’s fine and wait a bit longer which is fine but it’s good to ask if you’re worried

Yes see GP.

Thanks both, just tried GP and all appts today fully booked, I will phone first thing, unless she seems worse in which case they said 111

Have you spoken to the receptionist and told them she has a temp of 39? Our GP got my 2.5 year old in within a couple of hours when her temp was that high. She had what they thought was probably a virus but gave her antibiotics due to scarlet fever being so prevalent and not wanting to take the risk.

As it’s Friday tomorrow I’d be getting her checked

She hasn't had a temp since Sat, it is just the diarrhoea now that I can tell!

But yes its a New system they're trialling apparently!
