This is something I always seem to struggle with. I tend to work better late at night when DH and DD are in bed, but then I find I can't get up in the morning so have had to put a stop to it.

DD is now at pre-school nursery 5 mornings a week so I usually get 2 hours to cram stuff in whilst she's out and then I do my householdey stuff, appointments to dr or dentist etc. I don't do much more work until DD goes to bed at between 7 and 8 until around 10. So I reckon I get about 4 hours a day to get stuff done.

If there is a really pressing assignment due in, and DD is happy to play in her room, I might try and get a bit done then too, but it's not always possible because there are undoubtedly things she wants or needs.

Have to say that this is a fairly new system so I am still trying to get it to fit properly.
