DS is 14m. Has never been brilliant at sleeping but generally did 7-7 with 2/3 wake ups.
Hes suddenly doing 7-4am with no wake ups BUT thats it, he's up for the day and nothing will get him back down again. We've tried cuddles, milk, controlled crying. He will cry for hours until you finally give in at 5.30 and get him up. Last night it was 3.30!! I’m broken.

Any advice please?

Honestly I tried everything for my son and nothing helped - literally, nothing. I just had to ride it out for a few months and went to bed much earlier to catch up on sleep. It's hard but it does get better! He's 2.5 now and sleeps 7:30-7:30/8 again

It's a phase. His "wakeup" is now at 4, but in my experience at this time of morning there's not enough melatonin to allow for another stint of sleep

It's grim, but he will outgrow it

@Exworrier just wondering what happened in the end, as I’m in the same boat now! Was it a phase??
