Hi all
We have been very lucky so far with our son and he's sleeping, I co slept with him as I was ebf but he's been in his own bed for some time now, the way it was we read a book and then I pretended to sleep he falls asleep and I would leave the room, no probs but now if I try to leave he won't have it and kick off, a couple of times I have gone hold on mummy will be back in a min and he'd forget about it and drift off we see him on the baby cam just fall back to sleep, lately though I try to leave the bed and he cries and cries so I give in and go back etc, I am wondering if I just read him a book, say goodnight keep his night light on and just leave the room for him to get himself to sleep, I'm thinking when I fall asleep with him when he wakes up at 2am or whatever sees I'm not there and freaks out. We keep his door open hallway light on so there is some light coming in he's not completely in the dark. I have a 2 month old you see so just trying to get this sleep thing sorted If I can haha

Thank you

It's pretty normal for them to have a sleep regression when a new sibling has arrived.

Does your DH ever do the bedtimes with him?
