my daughter is 2 and a half and has autism. I was trying to comb her hair this morning which usually she will sit relatively still and let me do. But this morning she started flailing herself around on the floor and she cracked me in the check with the back of her head, I took a deep breath and took her into the kitchen and attempted to put her in the high chair to do it.

she went bananas, opened her legs to stop me putting her In and catapulted herself almost out of my arms. Where I feel awful is that I lost my temper a bit and shouted at her, I never shout at her because she dosnt understand and it's probably scary for her, plus she dosnt like loud noises. So now I just feel absolutely awful

Don’t feel bad.
my children don’t have additional needs but I think it makes no difference, we are human and have our limits.
i promise you unless losing your temper is a regular occurrence she won’t remember it, it’s not a big deal.
don’t beat yourself up…your doing a great job xx
