Child maintenance… how are they allowing him to do this?

Ex asked for a dna test in December after I applied for maintenance. He knows dc is his. We went for the test within 3 days. It’s February tomorrow and he’s told them 3 times that he’s booked the test and then the day passes and it turns out he hasn’t done it so again, a new month and zero contribution from him. I’m exhausted by it. How is this ok?

After a while they'll just make an assumption of parentage and start taking regular child support plus the arrears.

He is an idiot. The maintenance payments are just piling up. He is liable since the day the case was opened.
