Hi everyone, I’m just looking for some advice.
i took my 11 year old daughter to the wall in centre yesterday as she was having pain in her chest when breathing in or running etc. we were triaged and because her ob’s were fine and no sign of coughs, colds chest infection etc, they sent us up to children’s a&e at our local hospital for an ecg.
when we got there we were triaged again, however the nurse asked us if we had a social worker (we previously did due to family issues, however our case was closed nearly a year ago) she also asked if both me and dad had parental responsibility. this really spooked me as I now suffer with anxiety and depression as a result of previous involvement with SS.
in my whole 11 years of parenting and a stint of being a live in nanny, and even with previous involvement, I have never ever been asked those things.
is it standard practice now that they ask these things?
why do they need to know if both parents hold PR?
is it just a case I’m being over anxious and worrying they are going to come back?
ive not slept through anxiety at all last night.
