New Fuzzi Bunz all over my floor.....

Nappyzone · 06/02/2008 19:11

So after quite some time the new style fuzzi bunz have finally arrived and a few of use sellers are now proud owners of large quantities.... i have ermmm a rainbow coloured selection scattered in my 'store room' - what do i think? Well some are brighter than i imagined!! The material is the same, the fleece inner is still the same and the colours are the same. The arms have lost there pointyness and are all squarer now and the elastication in the legs is possible more elasticated. I will be trying one out on boy tomorrow (undecided between Turquise and bright Yellow)so will report back. Insert are just the same so it seems.

Just thought i would just share

Will do... i have sent it in his nursery bag as i am at work (on my lunch mr IT guy before you tell me off!)and have requested they pop it on him at his late afternoon change so i get some benefit and idea too when i pick him up just after. I plumped for the turquoise....

Just caved in and ordered a large sky blue...

Nappyzone · 07/02/2008 19:52

OOOoo was that you! You cave easy - is packaged up and i will send it first class tomorrow!!

Well I am open verdict on them due to lack of testing - when i first got them yesterday i was unsure about the new styling - i preffered the pointy look on the arms.

Anyway results on Adam today were promising but not conclusive (lol i am talking about a nappy here ffs!!)- I found the perfornance just as good as the old ones though he did poo after 2hr 15 and so i am not sure how much longer i would get out of the insert on wee only as it is a bit thin and in my current ones i am boosting with ellas house hemp.

Anyway it contained well on poo and the elastic was a nice fit around his chubster legs.

On first looking closely i thought they looked huge but on it wasnt to bad and laid over my old fuzzi the length and width were the same - i did also wonder if it would be more prone to the wings drooping with the arms being more loaded with material but we will see......

Oooo i also got a onesize Blueberry minky dalmation print black on white yesterday and i was probably comparing them and lets face it there is no comparison on strokeability!

Would be interested to hear anyone elses reviews.....

Will report back...

Fizzylemonade · 09/02/2008 10:31

I got my new fuzzis and they seem HUGE. Ordered snugglebees at same time and cannot believe that both nappies fit

Snugglebees fit him beautifully & I have fuzzis as they fitted but were more generous so figured he would get more use out of them when he was a bit older as well as now.

I too liked the pointy arms because on ds2 they need to fasten all the way as tight as they will go, now they look a bit strange. I also have a blueberry but the pocket gapes when I put it on and so it isn't as good. Snugglebees wins my vote at the moment.

How is everyone else finding the new Fuzzis? DO you find that they stretch further now the legs have more elastic? Maybe that is why they seem bigger????

curlywurlycremeegg · 09/02/2008 11:57

Someone sent me a pic of the new style laid next to the old style and it was loads bigger. She also said that she has heard loads of reports of the fitting bigger despite the people at Fuzzi's saying they are the same

Nappyzone · 09/02/2008 12:33

I wonder if it depends from where the oldero nes were made - mine dont actually say where made but i bought them from us late 2006 - i have 4 of them and there all the same size therabouts as the new medium ones - i will take pic and add to my profile laters....

Has your new fluff surfaced yet curly?

OP posts:
curlywurlycremeegg · 09/02/2008 13:58

No and haven't ordered any new Fuzzi yet either as am overwhelmed with Tots Bots stuff that just isn't selling!

preggersagain · 09/02/2008 14:53

curly- thats why i sacked tots bots- even the stuff we did sell was being returned because it was faulty- poppers etc!!!

Good luck shifting it smartish, should be ok as there are becoming less tots stockists now!!! then order new exciting fluff- stroking swaddlebees is my fav activity atm!

curlywurlycremeegg · 09/02/2008 16:15

Grrr Preggers, it is sooo frustrating isn't it! Sales of them have just slowed to nothing, am going to have to do some offers to clear some stock space I think! It's a shame as the Original Tots are a great nappy, and I often think they are more absorbent than a Bamboozle. I do like Swaddlebees but they are just sooooo expensive , great quality though, wash and wear really well. I have some new AIOs and pockets coming from the states that are teddy fleece lined, they did get here but I sent them back to customs for VAT reassesment as I was being too stubborn to pay the tax and claim it back, bloody Parcelforce cocked up and sent them back to the states !

curlywurlycremeegg · 09/02/2008 16:15

Nappyzone, forgot to say, didn't realise you had added pic DS is sooo cute

Flamesparrow · 09/02/2008 18:51

i got some today - all medium though and I had no medium to compare to... looked HUGE though.

If tots dropped the price of the organic cottons then I would be plugging them more I think - I like having rainbows back again.

Nappyzone · 09/02/2008 19:47

Why thankyou curly - he is a looker with attitude today! Sorry about your fluff! - between customs and parcelforce they could murder small businesses!

curlywurlycremeegg · 10/02/2008 09:08

TBH Royal Mail are the worst at the moment, before Christmas 1 out of every 3 parcels I sent did not arrive at their destination, some were personal christmas presents so not all work stuff. Am still waiting for compensation on over 15 parcels!

Flamesparrow · 10/02/2008 09:32

I have only had a couple go astray, and thankfully they were dropshipped.

I'm STILL waiting on my customs refund though I have begged them to write cloth nappies on it this time, but I doubt it will make a difference, seeing as the last one said cloth diapers and the bloke said it was on the system as "clothes"

amazonianwoman · 10/02/2008 22:47

Can't wait for my new Fuzzi and don't mind at all if it is huge, as large Motherease wraps are leaving red marks on his legs on the widest setting, and he's not even 11mths yet, porker boy

Nappyzone · 11/02/2008 12:11

has it arrived...

OP posts:
amazonianwoman · 11/02/2008 13:21

Yes thanks, it's a Thing of Beauty

Can't stop stroking the lovely soft lining on my cheek, forgotten what they feel like brand new

Does look huge (my 1 old style large fuzzi to compare is in the wash - and it actually didn't leak on him the other day) but I'm sure it'll be fine, will try it this afternoon.

Nappyzone · 11/02/2008 19:10

oh glad to hear someone likes them!! Mine is growing on me. I love the feel of them too but its just a shame it doesnt stay that super soft.

OP posts:
amazonianwoman · 12/02/2008 12:44

Hmm, not sure about the new design. I can't see the point of the new wider tabs when the poppers are still in the same position as the older version - they just seem to gape, there's too much material

Can't comment on leakproofness as DS did a poo after less than an hour

Nappyzone · 12/02/2008 13:39

Supposed to make easier to grip so they say but i agree pointy was neater. Performing well though
