How many naps for 6 month old? Catnapper still on 4 naps!

Titles says it all really. Everything I read says by 6 months they should be on 3 naps but most days I still need to give my boy 4 naps as he’s a serial catnapper and wouldn’t be able to make it to bedtime. Bedtime is normally between 7-8pm but it can sometimes go to 8.30pm depending on last nap. Wake windows normally between 2-2.5 hours.

Is this normal? Any other 6 months on 4 naps?

Totally normal. Mine was still on 3 naps at 9 months

He started crawling at this point and did start to sleep longer: now it's normal for him to nap 1.5-2 hours. Fingers crossed the same goes for you!

Same here @TurtleMum . Minimum of 4 naps per day because they are only maximum 30-35 mins. I am awaiting the day when his naps lengthen and possibly fit into a routine. Fingers crossed eh?
