Which baby monitor - so confused!

I am trying to decide which baby monitor to go for but it seems none have glowing reviews?!

I’m not sure whether to go for one with a movement sensor or not, also can’t decide if I’d like the video monitor rather than just having the video on my phone with Wi-Fi?

Any recommendations or suggestions would be really helpful.

I am thinking about these so far but open to any recommendations:
Angelcare monitor with the movement sensor
Cuboai
BT Smart Baby Monitor

Thank you!

We have the angelcare monitor and it's served us well. I like hearing the reassuring "cheep" of movement as he breathes

I did mildly wish for a video monitor, but honestly I can't really say I've ever missed it. If you can afford one I'd say get it, but it's a perk rather than a necessity

Thank you! Sorry what do you mean video monitor, as I thought the Angelcare had a video monitor rather than having the video stream to your phone?

I have an Angelcare monitor with movement sensor but no camera. There are a few different versions. To be honest with this baby I have not used the movement monitor as I found it so stressful with my first. I just use the sound monitor for naps as he is 7 months old but still in our room. When he goes to his own room I have a camera that just goes to the app rather than separate monitor.

We literally had bog standard ones with no camera or sensors. The baby was sleeping with or near us til 6mo and then by then we were comfortable just having a simple one.

Hey @FLA92 thanks for your post! We've put together an in-depth guide to the best baby monitors, based on Mumsnetter recommendations. If you have any feedback on the article, give us a shout💐
