Teething question

My 8 month old ds has started growing his first tooth. First saw the tip of the tooth 8 days ago but today its still only the tip that's come through.

Just wanted to ask if it's normal for it to progress so slowly?

Totally normal. They have a long way to move and do it very slowly

Very normal. My baby is the same age and my god has been teething for MONTHS with literally the tiniest bit come through so far. Drives me wild - weeks of dribble and crying with such little actual progress!
