CMPA/NEOCATE HELP

So I took my baby 5 months to a consultants appointment last Monday as a follow up appointment for a different issue.

At the app the consultant noticed eczema on his forehead, asked a few other questions and then diagnosed CMPA and prescribed neocate LCP.

I couldn’t pick it up till Tuesday eve and decided to start weds.
I combi feed, formula mostly through the day and the breastfeed in the eves, through the night and first thing in the morning. I immediately cut out dairy.

I began mixing it with his old formula (kendamil) or expressed breast milk and have gradually moved him over and on Sunday he only had neocate without any kendamil.

On Saturday we went swimming and afterwards he had a really stuffy nose and sounded really congested and was in a very grumpy mood all eve. Slept very badly, super congested and just not a happy boy.
Sunday the congestion and runny nose continued.

Monday (today) he has refused most of this feeds or taken very little, pooped upon waking which was normal. But then he has pooped several other times but rather than poo it was a strange mucus type substance with weird white stringy stuff in. He’s does that three times today and has been in a miserable mood most of the day.

I’ve read fussiness and gastro issues can be side effect of the transition but he seems to have more allergy symptoms than before he was on neocate.

he is also on omeprazole for reflux since 10 days old.

any advice?

thanks.
