My baby, almost overnight, has started crying a LOT. For no apparent reason. Don’t think it’s colic, she’s been fed, nappy changed, but has stopped just going to sleep for chunks at a time and it’s now half an hour then awake again. When I give her the bottle she’s not even always hungry! Just takes a bit then that’s it. Tried a dummy which helped for an extra fifteen mins but then back to crying.

I don’t know what else to try.

She’s 9 weeks and six days.

My 9 week old had just had a random 3 days of poor sleep, irritability and cluster feeding, could it be that? Is it like previous growth spurts,?

Witching hour, perhaps? My LO had weeks of witching hour episodes from about 11pm till 2am from between 7 weeks till like 12 weeks and nothing would calm her down for long periods. Taking her outside for a breath of fresh air did help sometimes

When is she crying? Is it when she’s in a certain position?

it could be that she has (silent) reflux or trapped wind. Or she’s constipated.

trapped wind and constipation can be helped by a bit of leg cycling but if it’s reflux it’s about keeping her upright for feeds and for a while afterwards at least…

Witching hour. You could set your watch by it with my son. An hour of none stop screaming at 6pm. Fresh air, pram walks, white noise all helped.
I was demented. Pushing the pram round and round the park gardens virtually asleep on my feet. It passes eventually.
