DS (2) has been under the weather all weekend. Friday night had to call 111 as he had the rash, bright red cheeks, sore throat. They wanted him checked for Strep A at out of hours GP. All fine, GP happy that it wasn’t Strep A and was just a viral infection. By Sat morning he was just full of the cold and snotty and the rash had faded away. Today he’s still snotty but now has these patches appearing. Starting really pale then getting brighter. Has only had a few for the last few hours but can now see the pale ones appearing all down his sides.
Seems absolutely fine in himself. Temp etc normal, eating and drinking fine. I know hives can appear when there are other viruses going on. Does it look like hives?
