I never really had strong feelings about the dummy, and he had one as a baby for sleep. At around ten months he got really attached to it, to the point that even if he had a dummy if he found another one he would endeavour to get it.
Last summer I managed to get him off it unless it was bedtime and that was fine. All of a sudden he’s asking for it constantly. I’ve still managed to limit it out of the house but the second he is in the car seat he’s asking for ‘dummy.’
I’ve put the inevitable off as am worried about overnight sleep going to pot but any tips for getting rid of the thing? He is two.
