My daughter is 9 months old (as of yesterday) she's woke up with these red cheeks the past couple days and they've faded during the day.

I noticed last month she got one red cheek and then 2 teeth popped through and it was gone. But now she's got it again, just slightly more and on both cheeks, blotchy and warm to touch, not hot. Doesn't annoy her if I touch.

Could it be teething or something else? Irritation? Viral (the dreaded word)? I haven't given her anything new to spark up and allergy

Just to add to this also, she's not off her food or bottles. In herself she's her normal little miss personality. But her poos have been loose when she goes

Yes it could be teething. It could possibly be viral too. The NHS has a page on rashes in children www.nhs.uk/conditions/rashes-babies-and-children/

The NHS teething page is here www.nhs.uk/conditions/baby/babys-development/teething/baby-teething-symptoms/

What watchful wishes said- it could be either- my son gets a rash on his cheeks like that when he’s coming down with something but also their cheeks went like that when they were teething. Sorry

My DS 8 months has this right now and Im pretty sure it's teething. It always pops up with him 2 weeks before a tooth appears x

common, never a sign of problem in my own kids
