3 year old slipped and hit head in bath

I’m so worried!

DP keeps saying he’s fine and that the bath sounds worse than it is, it’s bouncy not solid etc

Anyway, he basically skipped and fell back on to his head. He had a cry then was teary until he fell asleep on his dad in bed, which is unusual for him as he usually wants me but it’s way past his bed time and he’s knackered.

Much to DPs dismay I insisted we try and wake him just to make sure he did wake, and he kind of did but obviously he was sleepy and trying to go back to sleep, but did ask for his “bigger dummy” which is what he’d been crying for before bed (can’t find it!) He’s gone back to sleep now.

Someone please tell me this is normal and he will be ok!

Sounds like he'll be okay. If he'd vomited I'd be more concerned about concussion but I'm not a medical professional. Crying is a good sign that they're not seriously hurt, it's if they go quiet/space out you really need to worry
