Can anyone advise how they were contacted in previous years to confirm which primary school their child had a place at? was it via email or another method?
Many thanks

it depends on which Local Authority you are in so other people's experiences on mm won't help - ask in a forum that is local to your home.

we had an email, followed a couple of days later by an identical letter by post.

Email and able to log onto portal. Applied online.

I believe if you use a paper form its by post.

It will vary by LEA, some use email, some letter, some you log in to a portal. Nobody can tell you what your area does.

LIZS · 18/01/2023 21:12

Depends how you applied. Online is via email or logging into the admissions system, on paper by post.

Soapnotshowergel · 18/01/2023 21:44

Logged into the admissions system at midnight. Email eventually came through the next morning.
