Breast pump and baby carrier recommendations please

Hi all

Just as the title suggests really! I want a new breast pump, the one I used with my daughter was rubbish (Bellababy). Don't want to spend a huge amount but want it to be decent. Happy with just a conventional one rather than the wearable ones! I do have a haaka and use this most of the time, love them!

Also a baby carrier. I am all fingers and thumbs so wraps just don't do well with me. I had a baby caboo from the sling library with my daughter but would prefer to buy my own this time. I found the caboo relatively easy to use but found baby slipped down a bit over a short time. I do have a large chest and am about a size 14 if that matters. My husband likes to use them too and he is bigger, but it will be me baby wearing primarily.

Any recommendations would be great, I'm sick of googling and reading mixed reviews!

Baby Bjorn baby carrier

I've found Medela Freestyle good but it's pricey. I have Elvie too but find it fiddlier.

I also had the medela freestyle and it was good.

I recommend the Ergobaby 360 carrier, very comfy and baby has never slipped in it. Still using it now and he’s 15 months.

Thanks so much, I'll take a look at them 🙂

Ergobaby for carrier

Beko Gemini carrier. Used mine from 8 weeks to 3.5 years for two children which is good value. Both of us wore it easily as front and back carry.

I had a Medela Swing which is meant to be great but I hated expressing anyway and didn't bother with DC2. I could only get anything out with it first thing in the morning. Probably still is a good pump mind you, I just hated it.

For carriers, Lille baby and Moby were both good for us.
I also had a toddler-sized Fidella Fly Tai which I liked (ties, but easier than a wrap)

Elvie pump, and Baby Bjorn carriers - have also used Ergo 360 and found the BB much more straightforward to use.
