DD had her well visit last Tuesday, and was given 4 shots, 2 in each leg. Yesterday (which was day 7), I was changing her diaper and found something that felt like swollen lymph nodes in her right groin area. Next diaper change, similar but smaller thing in the left leg as well. She is well otherwise and it doesn't seem to bother her. We took her in to the doctor who examined her and said it was likely due to the vaccines and it should go away with time. But if it doesn't get smaller we should see him again in 7-10 days. That put my mind at ease a bit, and I've read many many posts by moms who've had similar issues esp with the MMR vaccine. However, their kids have had the swelling for a long time even beyond the 7-10 day time frame. I do know that swollen lymph nodes take a long time to resolve generally.
Anyone has had any experience with this?
